About this event
To celebrate the beginning of Plastic-Free July, we are holding a Potluck and Plastic Free Party at the wonderful Wunggurrwil Dhurrung Community Centre.
The night will include a talk from the Werribee Riverkeeper about the health of the river, the impact of pollution and the solutions at hand. Plus music from The Orbweavers, who weave the stories of Melbourne’s waterways and the Western volcanic plains into their songs.
We will also be launching Werribee River Association’s How Low Can You Go Challenge, an initiative to reduce waste to landfill through appropriate recycling, reusing, swapping, borrowing and repairing. Join our Facebook group to find out more: https://www.facebook.com/groups/370631601784545
If you are in a position to do so, please bring along a dish to share, otherwise we will have a big pot of soup on the stove for everyone to enjoy!
Free, but registration essential via Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/potluck-and-plastic-free-tickets-349493363057
