Confluence 2026: Community Waterways Forum

Attend the closing week of the Birrarung Riverfest.

What could happen if Melbourne’s communities came together to take action for healthier rivers and waterways? Confluence 2026 brings together community leaders, volunteers, environmentalists and waterway champions for a day of ideas, conversation and action.

The day opens beside Birrarung with Wurundjeri Elder and Birrarung Council Chair Uncle Andrew Gardiner, with Kirsty Costa, environmental leader and founder of the wildly successful Weekend Birder podcast, joining a diverse line-up of speakers.

Come to connect, learn, contribute your ideas and be part of a growing movement for healthier waterways and communities.
