Friends of Lower Werribee River – Weeding/Maintenance

Come join the Friends of Lower Werribee River for conservation work in Presidents Park. A fun and social environment on the 1st Thursday of the month, 10am – 12noon, March to October. We will meet at President’s Park, Shaw’s Bridge carpark.

We undertake weeding, mulching and planting work to improve biodiversity and extend the plantings along the riverine parkland. 

We welcome new volunteers or community groups, no experience necessary, just a willingness to get involved and care for our local waterways. It is a great morning out, working along-side Wyndham City Council conservation crew. 

All ages welcome | Wear suitable clothing and footwear | Be sun-smart | BYO gloves, sunglasses and water bottle | Tools provided | No experience needed.
