Friends of the lower Werribee River – October event
This monthly conservation group meet on the 1st Thursday of the month, February to November to support the health of the lower Werribee River.
This month we will be working at a new site; Riverbend Historical Park on Riversdale Drive near Huntington Court. We will be mulching for next years plantings.
We undertake this work to improve biodiversity and extend the plantings along the riverine parkland.
We welcome individuals or community groups to get involved. It is a great morning out, working along-side Wyndham City Council conservation crew.
Work as little or as much as you can. No prior experience required. BYO gardening gloves and water bottle.
