Generations in Gaia: Point Cook Coastal Park

Generations in Gaia is Werribee River Association’s intergenerational nature connection group, exploring the plants, animals and waterways of Wyndham through accessible walks and care for Country. The group runs the 2nd Tuesday of the month and is free to join, however bookings are required.

Our September session will be exploring in and around the Point Cook Coastal Park. Joining us will be environmental artist Carolyn Cardinet, who will help us create our own creatures out of objects found on beaches around Melbourne. These will be exhibited in our War on Waste Space at River FEST. We will then head off for a walk on the beach, cleaning up as we go. Bags, tongs and gloves provided.

Meeting at the Point Cook Coastal Park Playground. Bring along some snacks to share!
