A guided walk with local experts over Laverton Creek, through woodlands to the summit of nearby Truganina Park hill. Here there are panoramic views over wetlands to Point Cook, and east to the beaches and city beyond. This area is a haven for birds, with dozens of species recorded here – bring your binoculars! This event is kindly supported and co-hosted by The Hobsons Bay Wetland Centre volunteers. Meet at the entrance to Truganina Explosives Reserve, beside the historic buildings, at 276 Queen Street, Altona.
