Naturehood Walk: Bisaya edition

Bisaya ka? Join us for a bilingual guided walk by the Werribee River!

Nature is a kind of language – and learning the names of animals and plants in the local landscape helps us feel grounded. We will take an easy stroll from Wyndham Park to Bungeys Hole, taking in the cultural history and ecology of the river. At Bungeys we will meet Perri the (taxidermy) platypus and learn more about this unique creature.

The walk will primarily be in Cebuano* (Bisaya) and English but your guide will also be able to converse in Tagalog.

Meet at the Wedge St piazza in front of Wolf on Watton at 9.50AM on SUN April 23rd. The walk will begin at 10AM and finish back at the original location around 11AM. Head to the Filipino fiesta in Point Cook afterward!
