Origami at Saltwater

Let’s make river creatures through the Japanese art of paper-folding. We will demonstrate how to create a frog, fish and bird. Those who are highly patient can meet the platypus challenge!

We will then create a replica habitat for them, thinking of all the things that wildlife need to thrive in our waterways.

Recommended for middle-primary students upwards. Children must be supervised by their guardian.

This activity is part of Werribee River Association’s autumn school holiday program, supported by Saltwater Community Centre.
