Paddle the Werribee River!

The Werribee River is a beautiful place, and one of the best ways to experience it is on the water.

This year our popular Paddle the River event returns – for one day only! Join us at Riverbend Historical Park for a 45 minute paddle, heading upstream and returning. Passing by huge river red gums, Werribee blue box trees and the wildlife and birds of this scenic section of the waterway, our team will provide a guided tour of this unique and fascinating river.

Paddle Victoria instructors will be providing a pre-session safety and equipment briefing, and on-water advice, so the event is suitable for all levels of paddlers from beginners to advanced. All canoe equipment and lifejackets are provided. Wear clothing and shoes that can get wet/muddy. Be sun smart and stay hydrated.

These events sold out quickly the last couple of years so don’t miss out!

This is a great day out for families, community and everyone who enjoys being outdoors in nature.
