Ride n’ Regenerate: Wyndham Park to Werribee River Park
Keen to explore the Werribee River on wheels while helping to regenerate our local environment?
Let’s bike ride together from Wyndham Park to Werribee River Park, along the picturesque track that follows the river.
At Werribee River Park we will be planting trees and shrubs on the flats, to increase canopy cover, habitat and biodiversity./ The park remains off the beaten track, but with views over the river to the K Road Cliffs, it is Werribee at its finest.
Over the last two years, The Werribee River Association has planted over 5000 trees within the park as part of the More Trees for a Cooler, Greener West initiative, supported by the Victorian Government. We’d love you to be part of this historic project!
We will meet at the picnic tables in Wyndham Park, just over the Bicentennial Bridge off Comben Drive. Google Maps pin drop: https://maps.app.goo.gl/YwxLDJTACJDWLRaa9
