The Change Makers Pot-luck Dinner: Celebrating Volunteer Week

Celebrating National Volunteers Week and all the wonderful WRA volunteers and supporters who help make a difference.

They’ll be food, drinks, trivia, a fire to toast marshmallows and DJ Joseph Asirifi creating the vibe with his mix of Ghanian highlife and Afro-Beats.

We’ll provide some healthy food choices, but you too are welcome to bring a plate or drink to share. A pot-luck dinner is all about sharing, so feel welcome to bring along some goodies from your garden, a sample of your favourite recipe, or a musical instrument.

RSVP for catering purposes. Additionally, we invite nominations for WRA volunteer recognition awards. Email us on admin@werribeeriver.org.au

National Volunteer Week (NVW) is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering and will be held on 15 – 21 May 2023. This year’s theme for National Volunteer Week 2023 is The Change Makers. The Werribee River Association is excited to continue the tradition of hosting a celebratory event that allows us to socialise, share stories and some food, in an informal and family friendly environment.
