Volunteer Week Thank You Dinner!

To say thank you for all your hard work and passion for healthy waterways, we would like you to join us during volunteer week for a delicious dinner and celebration.

Catered by Wyndham resident Kidist Solomon, we will share an Ethiopian vegan feast together, getting a chance to shake hands and mingle without gardening gloves or litter pick-up sticks getting in the way.

Join us at this cosy venue, in the heart of Werribee, with a rear balcony overlooking the Werribee River. This venue has limited seating, but bring a coat and explore the external balcony views.

RSVP for catering purposes to jess.fairfax@werribeeriver.org.au by May 15th. Drinks available at the bar at cost.

This year’s theme for National Volunteers Week is Something for everyone. The Werribee River Association is excited to continue the tradition of hosting a celebratory event that allows us to socialise, share stories and some food together.

We are also accepting nominations for those volunteers who have made a significant contribution to our environment and programming. Please send us your nomination with a brief description as to why this person is worthy of an acknowledgement award. We know there are many wonderful contributors worthy of a this.

Send your volunteer award nomination to jess.fairfax@werribeeriver.org.au
