Werribee River Photography Walk

Join us for an exciting photography walk along the Werribee River Trail – a unique opportunity to explore the beauty of the area while enhancing your photography skills. Led by the talented Femy Francis from Avatar Commercial Photography and supported by Lisa Field from the Werribee River Association, this walk promises to be an enriching experience for all photography enthusiasts.

During this walking workshop, you will have the chance to learn and develop photography techniques using the camera, phone, or tablet of your choice. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience in photography, you’re welcome to join us.

Discover the art of photographic composition, understanding texture, and making the most of lighting to capture stunning images; whilst gaining a deeper appreciation for the picturesque Werribee River.

The walk will be at a slow pace, making it accessible to everyone. No prior photography skills are required, so feel free to join and learn something new!

The event is free (although you may consider a donation); however, pre-registration is required to secure your spot. You only need to book once, even if the event is listed on multiple sites.

The walk will commence from the Piazza, located at the corner of Wedge St and Watton St, Werribee, next to the Wolf on Watton.

What to Bring:

Don’t forget to bring your camera, phone, or tablet.

Wear comfortable walking shoes as we will be exploring the area on foot.

This photography walk is not just about taking pictures; it’s an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for the beautiful Werribee River scene. So, come along, enjoy the camaraderie, and leave with an expanded skill set and a deeper appreciation for the natural wonders around us.

Join us for this delightful photography walk!

Kindly supported by Werribee Business & Tourism Association and Werribee River Association
