Wild Walk at Long Forest 

Join the Werribee Bushing Walking Club and Werribee River Association on a special guided walk at Long Forest Conservation Reserve on Wurundjeri Country. This walk is on uneven surfaces, moderately challenging, and requires a good level of fitness. The walk is approximately 10kms and will take around 3 hours walking time; with breaks we will allow for 3.5-4 hours. 

The closest toilet is in Bacchus Marsh at the Rupert Vance Moon Reserve.

BYO water and lunch/snacks. Wear sturdy shoes or walking boots. Be sunsmart.

Meet at the Long Forest Reserve carpark https://goo.gl/maps/JmcwKSKEf5ibVD968 at 210 Long Forest Rd, just before 10am. Or car pooling from Werribee, meet 9am, for 9.10am departure at the carpark next to the Bridge Hotel – on Synnot Street.

Long Forest Nature Conservation Reserve is a 600-hectare protected area in the Australian state of Victoria situated 50 kilometres to the west of the state capital of Melbourne, between Melton and Bacchus Marsh. It is managed by Parks Victoria. No pets allowed.
