In early May, John Forrester, the Werribee Riverkeeper was invited to join with EPA Officers as part of their Waterways Harm Reduction Program, making unannounced visits to businesses near the Werribee River.
John Forrester, the Werribee Riverkeeper, was very positive about the program and the approach by the EPA of involving the Association to support education. John distributed a copy of the latest platypus report to each of the business owners he visited, and was pleased that businesses were interested in supporting healthy waterways.
