Hop into Frogging along Lollipop Creek in Wyndam Vale

Join Melbourne Water’s Waterwatch team and the Werribee River Keeper Association to learn about the small animals that call the waterways of Wyndham Vale home.

Bring the kids along and engage in fun and interesting activities all about frogs!

Hear from the Werribee Riverkeeper team on the importance of frogs and the local habitat of Lollipop Creek.

Next join a guided walk to learn about Lollipop Creek and our elusive frog species including how they indicate how healthy waterways are.

Then get your listening ears on and your smart phone ready to record as we take live recordings of the frogs calling. Your data will contribute to the Frog Census program which provides vital research on our important frog species.

You’ll be having fun, learning new things and contributing to conservation. Win Win Win.

Please bring along a small torch, smart phone/device and download Frog Census from the App Store.

Gumboots are optional as you may get your feet wet in the shallow banks. Sturdy shoes a must.

Bring your own water and wear weather dependant clothing.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration required – book via Humantix – https://events.humanitix.com/hop-into-frogging
