Once Upon a River: Nature Writing with Sukhjit Kaur Khalsa

Once Upon a River is a nature writing program that draws inspiration from the plants, animals and communities within the Werribee River Catchment.

On Friday March 31 we will explore the ecosystem surrounding Skeleton Creek. Beginning with a walk we will listen for the frogs and birds that inhabit the area, checking out the restoration work that has been done that enables them to feel so at home.

We will then be guided by spoken word royalty Sukhjit Kaur Khalsa, who will provide some prompts to get pens on paper.

Free but bookings essential.

Once Upon a River has been funded by Arts Assist.
