Generations in Gaia: Werribee Park Farm

Generations in Gaia is Werribee River Association’s intergenerational nature connection group, exploring the plants, animals and waterways of Wyndham through accessible walks and care for Country. The group runs the 2nd Tuesday of the month and is free to join, however bookings are required.

Our August session will be exploring in and around the Werribee Park Farm. We’ll check out the community garden and say hello to the resident chickens, plant some seeds in time for spring, making some beautiful seed paper, and take a walk through a canopy of River Red Gums to the Blue Stone Ford in the Werribee River.

Access to the farm is via Gate 5 on K Road. A detailed map will be sent prior to the event.

Morning tea provided.
